I’m going to get hate for this, but I don’t care.
I’m really disappointed in David Karp.
He created tumblr. He created the thing that actually gets some people through their day. He created a place where people could bond with one another and become friends where they never would have in real life.
And he sold it.
He just sold it.
He betrayed everyone.
Tumblr is no longer going to be a private place that isn’t severely overpopulated by assholes. Tumblr isn’t going to be the same.
And it’s David Karp’s fault.
Worse still, he did it for money. He did it to get rich. He didn’t care about his devoted users. He just wanted to be rich.
